In-game description[]

This description is taken from the NTSC version of Gran Turismo 2:

With the Cervo Mode, Suzuki exceeded even its best-selling Alto series. True to its name ("cervo" and "mode" mean "stag" and "vogue" in Italian), this subcompact is luxurious and stylish. The Cervo Mode, available in two body types (3 door and 5 door), has branched into numerous models since its 1990 release, including the M Selection, L type, and the classic Cervo C. The richly-textured interior and exterior are perfectly complemented by high-quality driving performance. The sportiest of the Cervo series are the SR and SR-Four lines, both of which feature an all-aluminium, in-line 4-cylinder twin-cam turbo engine with a maximum output of 63 BHP at 7,000 rpm and a maximum torque of 61 lb-ft at 3,500 rpm. Both have a 5-speed manual transmission. The SR has orthodox front engine, front-wheel drive, while the even sportier SR-Four has all-wheel drive. MacPherson strut with coil spring front suspension combines with ITL coil spring rear suspension. Disc brakes are used in the front and rear. This is a car that combines sharp handling with smooth turning.
