Super Speedway is an original track from the Gran Turismo series. It was featured in Gran Turismo 2 and Gran Turismo 3: A-Spec before being replaced by the real-life Twin Ring Motegi Super Speedway.

Game to GameEdit

The Super Speedway has been featured in Gran Turismo 2 and Gran Turismo 3: A-Spec.

Gran Turismo 2Edit

The first time the circuit was featured was in Gran Turismo 2. This version of the track is most recognizable by the third and (a part of the) fourth corners being covered, like a stadium. The other noticeable things are a huge lap time counter on the front straight, and one of the hardest to enter pit lanes in all of Gran Turismo.

List of EventsEdit

  • Race 2 of Station Wagon Cup
  • Race 1 of GT All-Stars
  • Race 2 of GT 500 Championship
  • Randomly Featured in the Event Synthesizer Race

Gran Turismo 3: A-SpecEdit

After the debut of the track, a lot of changes were made in the track's second incarnation. The stadium-esque turns 3 and 4 were changed so that there wasn't a cover, and the pit-entry/pit-exit were both extended to the entry/exit of the back straight.

  • Race 2 of Lightweight K's Cup (Beginner)
