Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG (also known as Porsche AG) is a German manufacturer known for their high-performance vehicles, most notably the 911 series, as well as their successful motorsport participation.

Initially making an informal appearance in Gran Turismo 3: A-Spec, they finally made their official debut in the series starting from Gran Turismo Sport following the expiration of their exclusivity deal with video game publisher Electronic Arts.

• In Gran Turismo 2 and Gran Turismo 3: A-Spec, there are no direct references to Porsche as a brand on descriptions of both the RUF brand and its cars, being instead referred as a "well-known German sportscar marque". Two Porsche cars (the Porsche 944 and the Porsche 911) are, however, directly referenced on the descriptions of the Mazda RX-7 Cabriolet (FC) '90 and Aston Martin V8 Vantage '99 in the PAL version of Gran Turismo 2.
  • Additionally, in the Japanese version of GT2, Porsche is explicitly mentioned in the description text for Ruf cars.
