In-game description

Following a full redesign in August 1981, the 6th generation Skyline emerged two months later sporting a DOHC engine that Nissan had been waiting a long time to use. The car was the Skyline RS, and the engine was the FJ20-type 2L DOHC straight 4.

The first FJ20 engine was naturally aspirated, generating 148 BHP maximum output and 18.5 kgfm maximum torque. As Nissan was in the middle of a heated race with Toyota to create high performance engines at the time, they fitted a turbocharger to the RS and re-released it in February 1983 as the Turbo RS.

The Turbo RS, with its powerplant generating 187 BHP maximum output and 23.0 kgfm maximum torque, immediately stepped into the lead in the power war. After minor changes six months later, a new version emerged featuring a grille-less front end. This is when the car acquired its current nickname, "Tekkamen" (Iron Mask). Around this time, the RS-X, an upgraded RS with additional trim, was also added to the lineup.

In February 1984, the pinnacle of the Turbo RS line was introduced: a model dubbed the Turbo C.

The biggest highlight of the Turbo C was the addition of an intercooler for the turbocharger, which boosted cooling performance. The compression ratio was also increased from 8:1 to 8.5:1. As a result, maximum output jumped to 202 BHP and maximum torque to 25.0 kgfm. The car can be recognised by the small air intake that was added to right side of (when facing the front) the front spoiler.

The Turbo C lived up to its reputation as the most powerful Skyline thus far, becoming overwhelmingly popular among car enthusiasts. Although it never bore the "R" designation, this famous car still has passionate fans to this day.
