Trivia[]
- The default livery of the Atenza Gr.3 is reminiscent of the Mazda 6 SkyActiv-D race car from 2013, which participated in the Rolex Sports Car Series under the GX class, which it won.
- Compared to the original Mazda Atenza featured in the game, this, along with the Gr.4 variant feature a much higher-revving engine, which implies that the diesel engine from the original car has been swapped for a more conventional race-spec four-cylinder turbo engine.
- The car uses OZ Racing Centerlock Wheel wheels, a wheel available from Livery Editor/GT Auto, although not in the black color it uses.
- In GT7, unlike its Gr.4 counterpart and the Mazda RX-Vision GT3 Concept, no Mazda Spirit Racing livery were ever made available for this car from Brand Central.
