The Honda NSX-R GT1 Turbo '95 is a race car produced by Honda, which competed in the 1995 Le Mans 24 Hours. This car appears only in the NTSC-J version of the original Gran Turismo. This car doesn't appear in the PAL and NTSC version of the game, where it was replaced by the Honda/Acura NSX-R LM GT2 '95.

Although the car has no driver number, the two broken yellow lines on the top of the sunstrip sticker indicate that the car appears to resemble the #47 race car driven by Armin Hahne, Bertrand Gachot, and Ivan Capelli, who have participated in the GT1 class of the 1995 24 Hours of Le Mans but failed to finish the race.

AcquisitionEdit

GT1Edit

This car can be purchased in the special section of the Honda dealership for 50,000,000 Credits (The equivalent of 500,000 Credits of the PAL and NTSC versions of the game). It is available in two color schemes, Red and Black.

TriviaEdit

  • The livery of the Honda NSX-R Prototype LM Race Car, a car first appeared in Gran Turismo Concept, is based on this car. Both cars share also the color scheme, with Red as the color of the body, and Gold as the color of the rims. However, unlike this car, the NSX-R Prototype LM Race Car isn't available in a second color scheme.
