Description[]

HONDA NS400R Racing/Modify '85 Released in 1985, the NS400R was a replica of Honda's NS500 World Grand Prix machine. Like the NS500, the NS400R had a two-stroke V-three engine, but with a different configuration. Two cylinders were oriented horizontally toward the front of the bike, and the third was vertical at a 90-degree angle. The NS400R had very similar styling to its World Grand Prix counterpart, and a high degree of performance.

This racing-spec NS400R achieves even greater performance with polished cylinder heads for a higher compression ratio, re-machined ports, and larger-diameter carburettors to match. Also racing-spec are the expansion chambers and mufflers. The chassis is also strengthened to handle the extra power.

Although the fork is standard, and not equipped with the TRAC brake-torque-responsive anti-dive mechanism, the front brakes feature slotted disc rotors and 4-pot calipers. In the rear, the reinforced swing arm is paired with a floating brake caliper for better control. The Comstar rims are wider than standard for better racing performance.

Acquistion[]

  • This bike can be acquired by selecting it in Challenge Mode, and completing the event: 1-lap Pass - Autumn Ring. This is only possible in the North American and European versions of the game.
