Honda is a Japanese car company that was featured in every Gran Turismo game released. In the original Gran Turismo (American version), Acura and Honda shared the same dealership, mainly because of the fact that Acura was an American branch of Honda. In real life, it has a reputation for building reliable and economical cars, while in the other hand, also notorious for its high-revving engines in its sports cars/hot hatches. In the past, it dominated the Formula 1 scene for a while, as Honda-powered Formula 1 cars took famous drivers like the late Ayrton Senna and Alain Prost to victory from 1988-1991. Honda's most famous cars are Civic (compact car), Accord (compact, later mid-size and then full-size car), S2000 (grand tourer), and NSX (sports car).

Cars of this make are required to win the Take Your Honda Home hidden trophy in Gran Turismo 5.
