GTW EWTF

Welcome to the Gran Turismo Wiki External Wiki Task Force!

The Gran Turismo Wiki External Wiki Task Force (GTW-EWTF or simply EWTF) is Gran Turismo Wiki's task force for helping other video game wikis get off the ground or resolve any issues they may have.

Structure[]

Although each member of the EWTF holds equal weight when it comes to discussions (so as to make sure there's no "supreme leader" or anything like that), members will organize themselves into separate task forces so as to be able to take care of the EWTF's list of unassigned wikis more quickly and effectively. You can find a list of current task forces here. An archive of task forces who have finished their job is available here.

How do I sign up to become a member of the EWTF?[]

Simply post a message on the EWTF member list's talk page. A member will come by and review your request. In order to have a chance of being accepted, you must not have been blocked within the past six months, and must have made five or more edits to GTW prior to your request to join the EWTF.

Signature[]

Although this is thoroughly optional, it is suggested that users attach the following code to the end of their signature:

This will produce:

How does the Gran Turismo Wiki External Wiki Task Force operate?[]

When a member of the EWTF comes across a wiki which they think needs help (whether it be getting the wiki off the ground, or helping with dispure resolution), they post a question on the founder/lead administrator's talk page asking if they'd like help with the wiki. If the administrator says yes, or if the wiki is inactive, they then proceed to post a message on this page's talk asking to create a task force. Once the task force has enough members, a project page with the title "Gran Turismo Wiki:External Wiki Task Force/(wiki's name) Task Force", which details the wiki the task force is working on, as well as the force's goals. Discussion amongst the members of the task force takes place on the force's talk page. The task force is then listed on the Current Task Forces project page.

Wikis which do not currently have a task force assigned to them, but are intended to be worked on in the future, will appear here.

Can I file a request for my wiki to be worked on?[]

Yes, you can, in fact. Just click here and hit "Edit this page" to file your request. Please place new requests at the bottom of the "Requests" list. Additionally, please provide a link to your wiki, along with a brief explanation of what you need help with. If you don't feel like explaining exactly what's going on, simply attaching " - dispute resolution" or " - needs more content" after the wiki's link will suffice.
