Special Events are unique races in Gran Turismo 5 that will test your ability as a driver. Some will teach you how to drive (AMG Driving School) while others will take you on a scenic tour of Italy (Grand Tour). Each event awards both credits and experience, though you may only obtain these once for each of Bronze, Silver, and Gold. If you were to get Gold on a challenge (before obtaining either Silver or Bronze) you will get the credits and experience of all three ranks (Bronze + Silver + Gold). Special events are a great way to level up!
