Event Synthesizer[]
The Event Synthesizer (known as Event Generator in the NTSC-U version of the game) is an event/feature that appeared only in Gran Turismo 2. As the name says, it's an Event Generator, which means it'll allow the player to enter a race with random generated track and opponents, the opponents will be generated according to your car performances, this event/feature, as the text says, it's made for meeting your car's perfomance for each track.
The races are split in four different difficulty levels: Easy, Normal, Hard, and Expert. The differences between the difficulty levels are the Prize Money that can be earned at the end of the race, and the car driven by the opponents is different and has better perfomance that can be better than your car. All of the difficulties will come up with an 2 lap race, and the Expert level, unlike all other difficulty levels, will trigger a championship, composed by five random generated races, all two laps long.
Unlocking Criteria[]
The Event Synthesizer can be unlocked only by getting the S-License that can be unlocked by doing all the Licenses. Once unlocked, the Event Synthesizer can be accessed in the "Gran Turismo League" section of "Go Race".

Trivia[]
- The Event Synthesizer selects opponent cars from the pool of all possible opponents in all other events in the game, but filters out race cars, including race modified cars and rally cars. Because of this, the opponent selection also includes cut and unused opponents such as the unfinished Volkswagen Polo, but excludes all of the cars which were never set up to be used as opponents elsewhere, for example the RUF BTR or Tommy Kaira M30 GTS-R.
