This is a list of rally races featured in Gran Turismo 2. For each track there are three races, all of which are one lap races (or in the case of the races held at Pikes Peak, a point to point race) against a ghost car.
There are no entry requirements for these events, apart from having a car equipped with dirt tyres.

Trivia[]
- The first rally race held at the Pikes Peak Hill Climb is the only rally race where the player will encounter a road car as an opponent. Other rally races have rally cars or race modified cars as opponents.
- For some reason, in the NTSC version of the game, the opponent cars still retain the replay nameplate of the NTSC-J version of the game (a notable example is the replay nameplate of the Subaru Impreza Rally Car '99, who is referred as the IMPREZA '99 RALLY CAR in its appearance as an opponent in the third rally race at the Smokey Mountain North, instead of being referred as the Impreza Rally Car '99). This was later fixed in the PAL version of the game, where this trait, probably a leftover from the NTSC-J version of the game, was removed.
- Despite being restricted to appear only if the game's language is set to English, Vauxhall-branded cars will always appear as opponents in the PAL version of the game, even if the player does not choose English as the game's language.
- In the original Japanese release, the results for the second and third races of the Pikes Peak Hill Climb event are switched the other way around on the second page of the event lineup screen.[3]
- Due to a shift in car data (also affecting the endurance races) resulting in the game actually loading parts for the Chevrolet Camaro Z28 Coupe '97 instead of the intended Peugeot 206 Rally Car, the ghost opponent in question will go immediately out of sync in the original American release, preventing the race from being lost.[4]
- No prize cars are awarded for winning races in Dirt Events.
