Chamonix is where the 1924 Winter Olympics took place. The mountain complex itself is located in Mont Blanc, France. It is also a rally track in Gran Turismo 4 and Gran Turismo PSP. The course is half snow and half pavement, requiring Snow Tyres. It is also available as a track in Gran Turismo 5 and Gran Turismo 6, albeit in a totally different layout.

Much like in Ice Arena, many players would use white cars to blend their cars with the white of the snow. This would ironically only increase the difficulty as they will have a tendency to keep crashing without enough experience.

GT4 and GTPSP layoutEdit

In Gran Turismo 4 and Gran Turismo PSP, the track is a half pavement/snow course that winds around a giant gourge. When you start, the first half of the track is a paved road (which is ice-coated) that winds around a cliffside. Near the halfway point, there is a bridge that players must drive on. The track then changes to snow, and the track winds along a snow trail above the cliff. This cliff is beside the other one in the road. Then you reach the start/finish line, which is at the start of the road, as the track changes back to tarmac.

GT5 and GT6 layoutEdit
