The Bugatti Vision Gran Turismo is a track-only concept hypercar developed by Bugatti to celebrate the manufacturer's racing heritage and to showcase its future design language. It appears in Gran Turismo Sport and Gran Turismo 7.

Bugatti Vision Gran Turismo is a project as realistic as possible for Bugatti fans to introduce a thoroughbred Bugatti to the virtual world. The result is a symbiosis of technology, tradition and aesthetics, where every design feature has an actual purpose.
The Bugatti designers drew their inspiration from the brand's racing tradition. Bugatti enjoyed great success in racing in the 1920s and 1930s. Historical inspiration for the modern virtual race car came, in particular, from the Bugatti Type 57 Tank and its victories in the 24 Hours of Le Mans races in 1937 and 1939.
The design of the Vision Gran Turismo shows at first glance that Bugatti DNA meets cutting-edge racing technology. Marked by large convex surfaces in contrast with concave transitions and strong lines, the proportions of the vehicle are uncompromisingly athletic and designed for maximum performance. The designers have unmistakeably integrated key features of the Bugatti design DNA into the virtual race car's design with every vehicle component having a real performance function. The horseshoe on the front grille acts as a support for the front splitter. The centre fin, which derives from the legendary Type 57 SC Atlantic, makes an important contribution to the car's dynamic stability and accommodates the kinematic system for the rear wing, which controls the air brake and the drag reduction system (DRS). The architecture of the interior continues the clean lines of the exterior. Every aspect of the interior is geared to racing.
The virtual race car was developed in close collaboration with the Bugatti engineers and is based on modern racing technology and aerodynamic analyses. To attain the performance goals, the Bugatti Vision Gran Turismo is driven by a W16 engine, which delivers the engine power of 1,230 kW (1,650 BHP) and 1,580 Nm (161.1 mkgf) to all four wheels. The engineers have calculated that the Bugatti Vision Gran Turismo can drive at over 400 km/h (250 mph) on four sections of the virtual Le Mans track reaching an overall max speed of 447.59 km/h (278 mph).
The Bugatti Vision Gran Turismo is the ultimate race car, and at the same time a true Bugatti.

Bugatti has always been a company that drew inspiration from its racing history. The case is no different with this model that embodied the very soul of the marque. It was partly based on the company's classic race car, the type 57 Tank, which took the overall title at 24 Hours of Le Mans race twice in the 1930s. The mid-mounted W-16 engine was tuned to produce up to 1649.9 HP.

Performance[]
The Bugatti Vision Gran Turismo has an impressive top speed, topping at 288 miles per hour (464 kilometers per hour). It also has notable acceleration, due to its massive amounts of torque, its power-to-weight ratio, and its all-wheel drive system, as well as braking thanks to the DRS-based active rear wing. Even if the car's main strengths are speed and acceleration, it will perform fairly well on technical tracks, due to its reduced weight and tremendous amounts of downforce. However, this does not mean that this car is beginner-friendly, as these traits will lead to the car understeering at low speeds, and oversteering violently at high speeds, if throttle and speed are not carefully managed. The car also seems to be very sensitive to curbs as well. Its extreme speeds will also make it necessary to brake early as well. In theory, if driven with minimal error and kept under control, it can lap the Nurburgring Nordschleife in under six minutes.

- The Bugatti Vision Gran Turismo was co-developed alongside the Bugatti Chiron '16.
- The car was mysteriously teased under the codename of "#imaginEBugatti".
- This car also uses a pre-production Chiron chassis, and as such, only one model exists.
- The car has been bought twice, privately, in real life, by Prince Badr bin Saud, a Saudi Arabian prince, then was sold to a California-based businessman who is also a car collector. The car has stopped making public appearances ever since the businessman from California bought the car. This makes it the first and only Vision Gran Turismo vehicle to have actually been sold. The real-world price, however, was undisclosed.
- The specs in-game may imply that it uses an upgraded Bugatti Chiron engine, and weighs 1400kg, while the real life car actually uses the original engine from the Bugatti Chiron (at 1479hp), and is much heavier than its in-game counterpart (actual real-world weight undisclosed).
- It is unknown whether the car is street legal or not (unlikely given its appearance, interior and the fact it uses slick tires), however, it was seen with a Saudi Arabian license plate at one point. Given the car currently resides in California, it is also unknown whether the car adheres to the "Show or Display" law.
- On the car's door sills, it features a silhouette of its shape, with Kazunori Yamauchi's signature engraved on it.
- Due to the car being a special one-off model, a YouTube video from TheStradman shows that the car comes with a toolkit featuring jumper cables, the roof mounted antennas, remotes that control the wing, suspension and lighting, as well as an owner's manual, all of which are extremely rare, and the only one of its kind.
- According to the same video, there are only two sets of the Michelin racing slicks developed for the car, one being the one it originally came with, and the other coming directly from Bugatti themselves; the other set said to cost upwards of 80,000 Euros, in the case of a replacement.
- The Bugatti Vision Gran Turismo is the third most powerful car in the entire series (losing to the Jaguar Vision Gran Turismo SV and SRT Tomahawk X Vision Gran Turismo). However, it holds the title of the most powerful turbocharged car.
- It is one of three real Vision Gran Turismo cars that actually function, the two others being the Audi e-tron Vision Gran Turismo and the Volkswagen GTI Roadster Vision Gran Turismo. Despite this, however, the performance of this car was never tested in real life, only seen in several YouTube videos idling and driving at slow speeds.
- A car name entry exists for an unused Gr.3 variant of the car within the game files.[1] Due to lack of a possible Gr.3 vehicle, Bugatti currently cannot participate in Sport Mode's Manufacturers Cup, despite already having a Gr.4 vehicle (in the form of the Veyron).
- This car and Mazda LM55 Vision Gran Turismo can be seen on a "Keep Making History" billboard in Tokyo Expressway tracks as well as Broad Bean Raceway in GT Sport; these banners are based on pre-release artwork.
- This is the second Vision Gran Turismo vehicle to be legitimately featured in another game outside of the series, as it was featured in Asphalt 8: Airborne (starting from version 6.1.0). However, on November 28, 2023, it was removed from the game (during version 7.4.0) due for licensing disagreements between Gameloft (developer of Asphalt franchise) and Polyphony Digital.
- It is currently one of two Vision Gran Turismo cars to be featured in a collection-based Menu Book in the GT Café, as part of the Bugatti collection (extra menu). The other is the Alpine Vision Gran Turismo Race Mode in the Alpine collection.
