An anti-lock braking system, or ABS for short, is a system in the car designed to prevent brakes from locking up.
How it works[]
It works by delegating how much braking pressure to each pad, electronically sizing up and ajusting for potential lockup. It's a good system for amateur drivers; however, more advanced ones may find it faster to forego the system and learn the track on their own.
